Black and Chrome 2 (pair) shock absorber for Harley Davidson 1584 Street Glide FLHX 2007-2010

The “Black and Chrome 2” is a shock absorber with an integrated low pressure gas chamber.

There is no emulsion to ensure a better behaving stability unlike original shock absorbers and most of the replacement models.

It is a three pipe system with a double effect: the hydraulic flow controls the opening speed as well as the closing speed.

They are easily adjustable because the ratio of compression and rebound is already optimized.

The “Black and Chrome 2” allow to adjust high speed movement ( comfort) and low speed movement ( traction and stability).

They have a wide range of adjustment (26 clicks) to satisfy any riding expectation and weather conditions.

The springs are chosen by our technicians, based on the general state of charge of the vehicle (informations provided by the customer) and can be adjusted with a tool supplied by EMC.

Entirely designed and produced within the EMC company, the shock absorbers are machined in aluminium. For a better comfort, the shock absorber is assembled with SKF bearings free of maintenance. You must not grease them.

All parts are interchangeable and so those shock absorbers are fully rebuildable. Each shock absorber receives an engraved serial number after a dyno control to ensure each parts quality.
